- Products with the Energy Star label on it
- Control the temperature in your refrigerator:
- Non-freezer section: 38 to 42 degrees Fahrenheit
- Freezer section: between 0 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit
- Only wash full loads of dishes -> saves water and energy used to pump and heat it
- Clean out the lint filter in the dryer after each use
